The Kaderly Foundation is extremely happy and humbled to announce that the value of the Richard J. Kaderly Memorial Scholarship, given to a member of the Manchester High senior class, will be increased starting in 2014. The onetime $1,000 scholarship, that had been distributed each of the past two years, will be increased to a four-time $1,000 ($4,000). The first recipient of the increased award will be announced at the 2014 Senior Awards Banquet in May.

“This is a leap of faith for our organization”, say President, Rick Kaderly, Jr. “When we started this foundation, we wanted to give out one $500 scholarship a year. We had goals of giving out a 4 year scholarship ten years down the road, or so. To have made the jump in just two years is a statement as to great support we have received from the people of this community and the surrounding communities.” (more…)
